PiFox Star Fox tribute for Raspberry Pi

June 23, 2014 Tony DiCola

This project from students at the Imperial College London is a tribute to the classic video game Star Fox.  The project was written in ARM assembly language and runs ‘bare metal’ on the Raspberry Pi without the need for a full operating system.   Features include a 3D engine with software rasterization, Nintendo controller input, and 8-bit sound with DMA.  You can even find the code for the project on GitHub.  Nice work to all those involved!
